Mixed Martial Arts

Mixed Martial Arts or MMA has grown in popularity primarily due to strong interest in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
It is a combination of boxing, kick boxing, wrestling and Jiu Jitsu.
MMA provides exceptional conditioning as well as equipping you with the skills and confidence to handle most threatening situations.
We are one of the pioneers in Australia and have been training in this style since 1994

We offer the following types of classes;
MMA Skills
The skills classes are suitable for the beginner through to the professional fighter. You will learn the skills required in the cage/ring, drill the transitions from striking through to clinch work to ground and back up again
MMA Conditioning
If you want to get exceptionally fit and well conditioned this class is for you. You will increase your static and explosive strength, increase aerobic and anaerobic fitness as well as improved balance and co-ordination
MMA Small Gloves
These classes are sparring rounds at low intensity. They are a great place to learn how to spar safely. In addition you will learn 1 or 2 techniques per class.
MMA Sparring
MMA Sparring is the next step up from small gloves classes, if you are interested in developing good technique, competing or simply working out the weeks frustrations these classes are for you, expect to get hit and ensure you bring all your equipment with you
MMA Rounds/No Gi
These classes emphasis the grappling/wrestling/ground aspects of the sport.
